Goal Attainment:

Goal attainment is the specific strategy needed to accomplish goals and dreams. It is imperative for navigating the various terrains of Mental Training.

Cultivating Confidence:

Confidence is an essential ingredient for guiding the pursuit of excellence in life, on the court, and the field of play.

Focus Concentration:

 While “attention” is the focus on the here and now (i.e. being in the moment), “focus concentration: is the ability to direct and control attention. It enables athletes to be in control of their performance.

Commitment:

Commitment is the determination, desire, drive, attitude and self-motivation needed to keep you focused on your dreams and goals.

Coach WilliamS

The man behind the philosophy

Coach Williams is the Director of Mental Performance/Football Operation at Park Hill South High School. With over 20 years of experience coaching football and basketball talent, he extended his knowledge of Applied Sports Psychology with a Master of Arts from Adams State University. He was an NCAA athlete at the University of Colorado, in addition to a member of the 1990 National Championship team where his seeds of mental training were sown. Over the past 25 years, he has experienced the benefits of intentionally training the mind in a specific way to increase positive performance.
